Here comes Summer!!! The weather is warming things up....everything is green again....flowers are popping up everywhere and Lilacs are almost done blooming..
School is almost out and roads are busy with cottage goers and campers....The lakes are busy with boaters and fisherman.... I can here the lively sounds of nature outside 24/7.....Boy I love the north country!!!
We would like everyone to know that our Spring Cleanup is June 17, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (NOON) and drop off places are Shady Shores Park Community Building and Hill Township Transfer Station at the Hill Township Hall.
Second Avenue work has begun!
JULY MEETING - will be held Wednesday July 5th at 6:30 p.m. due to the holiday falling on Tuesday our usual meeting night!!

Autumn is Here
Wow!!! Where did the Summer go....It always goes way too fast!! Now it is time to close up cottages for the winter, put away all the Summer toys and rake the leaves...Where does the time go!! Hunting season has begun, Halloween is sneaking up quickly, then it will be Thanksgiving and then the big guy in the red suit on December 25th....
Please be careful when disposing of fall leaves....If burning make sure to watch it at all times and don't leave unattended. It only takes a spark to set a fire and a little wind for it to get out of control...We cherish our forests and lakes and our widlife.
