About our Township
Hill Township is located in the eastern side of Ogemaw County. It is 36.1 Square miles. It lies within the boundry roads of E. Rose City Rd., Wiltse Rd., E. Peters Rd., and County Line Rd.
We have over 16 lakes in Hill Township (some of which are private lakes on private property) They are: Sage Lake, Rifle Lake, George Lake, Bass Lake, O'Connor Lake, N. Dease Lake, S. Dease Lake, Laird Lake, W. Londo Lake, Jenkins Lake, Twin Lakes, Big Norway Lake, Cranberry Lake, Augustina Lake, NoMans Lake, Mud Lake, Valley Lake, LaBarge Lake and parts of Henderson Lake, Grebe Lake, and Londo Lake.

Lost Valley has a large pavillion with a fireplace, a swimming beach, playground, small marina with row boat and kayaks for rent, horseshoes, volleyball court, basketball court and laundry room. Propane and wood are available. There is a campground store with hand dipped ice cream and other convenience items.
Lost Valley is wooded with white birch, aspen, oak, maple and pine on 55 acres with an 80 acre natural lake. 1700 feet of lake frontage on East Twin Lake. 7 miles east on M-33 on Sage Lake Road.

June 16th will be our Cleanup day from 7:30 A.m. to Noon. Locations are - Hill township hall and the communtiy building in Shady Shores Park.....
